3D CGI Stills
A hands-on, interactive Smart Cities simulation experience designed to help high school students understand how data influences real-world decisions. Developed in collaboration with Wyndham Tech School and Wyndham City Council, the activation puts students in the role of city planners tasked with designing a local festival and testing their choices inside a live simulation powered by real-time IoT (Internet of Things) data.
The experience combines digital and physical interaction, using a 3D printed model of Watton Street as the projection surface. Students connect via laptops to collaboratively adjust variables and instantly see the flow-on effects across stakeholders such as residents, businesses, and attendees. The result is an engaging educational tool that makes data-driven planning tangible, collaborative, and visually intuitive.
Working closely with project partners throughout, we collaborated from early discovery workshops through to final delivery, supporting the experience design, simulation development, and visual execution to bring the concept to life. The project has since been recognised with local, national, and international awards, highlighting its impact as a future-focused learning experience.
